170 OF PORT ARE TRANSPORTED, SHOWING THE REVENGING POLITICS

It is reported that the president who alleged the opposition party that they were engaging revenging politics during the recent presidential election, 170 port employees including trade union leaders who bear opposition views, have transferred causing political revenge with his victory.




 

Port employees information sources state that

among port employees who have been transferred,

there are 6 trade union members as leaders  of

All Ceylon Port Common Employees Union, president

of Port Welfare Society, president and secretary

of drivers union, and 12 employees of National

Employees Union. Further information sources

state that transfers have been done to ports far

away from Colombo like Trincomalee, Oluwil, and

Galle.
